COMMUNITY YOGA

ALL ABOUT COMMUNITY YOGA
My journey with yoga started 21 years ago when I decided to sign up for a class as a young mom. After my first session I approached Nitsa, the gym's yoga teacher, and asked, "can any "body" do yoga" (as I had had a very difficult time with the poses). She laughed and assured me that everyone, no matter what body they're in, can practice Yoga. I've changed a lot through 20+ years of personal practice and teaching, but the one thing that hasn't changed is my belief that yoga is for everyone.
The mat is where we go to strengthen and lengthen our bodies and ultimately let go of tension. It is my job to help you get inside yourself, to let go, and help you reach your full potential on and off the mat..... E.E. Cummings said it best, "to be nobody but yourself, in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody but yourself, means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight, and never stop fighting". It will be my honor to be part of this journey with you.
